Our commitment to you

We have always set out to create the kind of website that we would happpy to use if we were making an online purchase. Consequently, we take security and customer service very seriously indeed and appreciate the trust placed in us by all of our customers when giving us their personal details.

Our current security procedures are exemplary and as near impenetrable as existing technology will allow. They are constantly reviewed and updated to take account of any new threats.

If you pay for your order at Bears 'n' Bubbles with a credit or debit card, your card details will be encrypted using the latest SSL technology. We do not save or retain any debit or credit card details, and will never disclose any of your personal or payment details to any third parties.

What we do to protect you

We have implemented the most up to date encryption technology available. Using Industry Standard 128 bit Secure Socket Layer(SSL) encryption, we ensure the link between your PC and our server is secure.

For our payment processing, we only use leaders in Payment Processing such as PayPal and Protx, who futher enhance our security to yourself. Bears 'n' Bubbles do not store any Debit or Credit card information.

Our computer system processes your payment automatically. None of our employees have access to any sensitive customer information through our website payment system.

If you still have concerns with entering your card details onto our site, then we also support PayPal Instant Payments using your existing PayPal account, so that you don't have to enter any details through our site. If you would like to talk to a human to place your order, we can accept your card details over the telephone. Our Customer Services staff are trained in handling sensitive customer information.

What can you do to protect yourself?

Most online transactions are completed safely and efficiently. Online shopping is quite safe providing you take some simple steps to protect yourself. Everyone using the Internet should at least follow the basic tips below:

• Keep your PC upto date with the latest Updates, including security patches, anti-virus, anti-spyware, and anti-keylogger software. It is sad to say but generally, the users own PC is often the weakest link in terms of security, and the most vunerable to malicious attacks.
• Excluding our Newsletter, Account, and Order processing, Bears 'n' Bubbles will never contact you via e-mail or telephone. We will not ask you to disclose your password, card, or bank details. Please, do not disclose these, and if you are contacted requesting such information, then forward the request to us for investigation. Please include full e-mail header data in this case.
• Please look after your password. Use a sensible password at least 8 characters in length, using both letters and numbers is best. Don't use dictionary words, or names of friends and family. Don't write down your password, and avoid using the same password for other Internet websites. If someone does obtain your Bears 'n' Bubbles password, they cannot order anything on your behalf or gain access to your card details.
• When the Bears 'n' Bubbles website asks you for any sensitive information including personal details, or during the order process, ensure you are using the secure website.
