Making a Purchase

Please Note: Bears 'n' Bubbles only deliver to the main land UK.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our store until you find the gift that most suits your needs. When you see an item you would like to purchase simply add it to your shopping basket, then either continue shopping for more items or start the checkout process. Please note in order to check out items you will either need to create an account on the Bears 'n' Bubbles website site first, or, providing you already have a PayPal account, use the Paypal Express Checkout mechanism which skips our Account Creation process.

Some of our products have specific options accessible through a drop down list box. We try to predict the most obvious option; if you wish to change it just press the down arrow on the drop down list box and select the option you would prefer. Please note some options will have an additional cost that is clearly shown. For example, in the "Stuffed Bubbles" section, the process is to select the Bear / Soft toy of your choice, then select the Balloon print / colour design you would prefer from the "Bubble" drop down box. In this example it is also possible to specify Bow and Ribbon colours.

Some of our products are unsuitable for young children. When a soft toy is unsuitable we will specify the manufacturer's age restrictions as part of the product description to ensure you are fully informed.

Our "Stuffed Bubbles" range comprise the soft toy (with its own age restrictions), balloons, tissue paper, bows / ribbons, and large latex balloon. While the soft toy may be suitable for young children, the latex balloon, smaller balloons, and tissue paper are not suitable for children under the age of 8 years.

Additionally, in our Stuffed Bubbles range we may use a Nylon line to aid the soft toy to stay in its location during postage. Please ensure that this Nylon line, as well as any balloons, tissue paper, bows / ribbons, balloon fragments, and tags are removed from the soft toy before presentation to the recipient of the gift.

Please ensure the balloon is kept away from direct sunlight and warm/hot objects.

Keep the balloon away from sharp objects.

Please keep the balloon away from small children and babies.

Always pop the balloon under adult supervision and away from children and babies.

Please read the safety instructions on the soft toy.

Bears 'n' Bubbles cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury, or damage caused by using our products.


Checkout Process

Once you have completed shopping and are happy with the contents of your Shopping Basket then payment will be required as part of the Checkout process. Please note that the Checkout process is handled in a secure session using 128 bit SSL encryption. This can be verified by the presence of the Padlock icon in your browser. Additionally, our site certificate verifies its authenticity.

The checkout process will require that you either create an account with Bears 'n' Bubbles, or that you pay with PayPal Express Checkout providing you already have a PayPal account setup.

You will then be presented with a "Delivery Information" screen. Here it is possible to specify a delivery address, either your registered address or by creating new addresses.

Depending upon the weight of your order multiple options for postage can be available. Select the one which is most appropriate for your requirements, from speed of delivery to the cheapest available.

If you are ordering a Stuffed Bubble you may take advantage of our local delivery service (if the option is presented as we only hand deliver to Liverpool and vicinity). In this case please use the Comments text box to indicate your preferred delivery day / time and we will endeavour to deliver then.

At this point you will be presented with the "Payment Information" screen. Please modify the Billing Address as appropriate.
All payments are processed securely through PayPal, an industry leader in web based payment transactions. You do not need to create a PayPal account as we accept all major credit cards directly on our payment page. Payment must be received and authorised before shipment can commence.

Upon completion of your order, the final payment amount is calculated this will include the postal / delivery charges for your order. No additional charges will be made.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate we have successfully received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us until the order has been accepted.

Finally, the "Order Confirmation" screen is displayed. You may edit any of the details provided to date. Pressing the "Confirm Order" button will start the Paypal payment transaction. Please do not press the back button during this process.

Delivery

Please Note: Bears 'n' Bubbles only ship to the main land UK. All orders will be despatched by the next business day, unless a specific later date has been requested.

Generally, shipping costs are calculated on weight and destination. We use a selection of Royal Mail and DHL courier services to give the customer the best options between speed of delivery and cost efficiency.

During the Checkout process the customer can select the postal mechanism required based upon the weight and value of the order. Bears 'n' Bubbles reserves the right to alter the postal mechanism if required, at no additional cost to the customer, to a more secure method. This may include a "Signed For" or Courier service requiring a signature upon delivery.

When selecting a "next working day" priority delivery service, the order myst be place before 10am to ensure delivery the following day. Orders placed after 10am my not arrive the "next working day".

Our own staff can also locally deliver Bears 'n' Bubbles products, for a nominal charge, within a specific radius of our premises.

For deliveries to Hospitals please ensure all details supplied are correct, including any Department or Ward details, and that the Hospital will accept deliveries to the location you have specified. We cannot be held responsible for the Hospital refusing the delivery.

Bears 'n' Bubbles cares passionately about our products, all are well packaged for delivery and leave our premises in the best of condition, marked appropriately depending upon the level of fragility. Depending upon the size / weight of product(s) ordered, they may be packed either in either sturdy postal boxes or padded packages. However, we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage during the delivery process and require that all such issues will be dealt with through Royal Mail / Couriers. We will, of course, try to be of assistance in such matters.

Please note that our Stuffed Balloons and Gift Baskets/Hampers content may move around during transit. These products leave our premises in the best condition, packed as well as possible.

All orders placed will usually be posted by the next business day. If a "next working day" sevice is requested then the order must be placed before 10am. Normal Royal Mail / Courier delivery times apply depending upon the delivery mechanism selected. Please take into account UK Public Holidays when ordering.

Royal Mail will only attempt to deliver the package once, and will leave a "While you were out" card if they cannot complete the delivery. In this case you will need to go in person, with suitable identification, to your local sorting office to collect the package within seven days. Failure to collect the package will result in it being returned to us. If this occurs you will be required to pay additional delivery charges, failure to do so within 7 days will result in a refund being made minus postal and administration costs. If a "While you were out" card was not left please complain to the Royal Mail as the fault is their responsibility. If you have not received your order within 5 working days please contact your local sorting office.

Royal Mail will not consider an item to be lost until after 15 working days from the dispatch date. In this case please contact us and we will register a claim with Royal Mail. Royal Mail will write to you to confirm you have not received the package; it is essential that you respond within 5 days to avoid the claim being invalidated. No recompense can be offered until this process has been followed. Please be patient as Royal Mail could take up to 3 months to process the claim.

Please place your order with enough time to cover the delivery period to avoid any loss or disappointment, as we cannot be responsible for this. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

Returns Policy

We believe that our products will delight you. Unfortunately, occasions do occur when an item has to be returned. We try to keep this process as simple as possible.

Unwanted Goods

Orders may be cancelled up to two days before the dispatch date. If the order is cancelled after the two day cutoff and before dispatch then a full refund will be given minus a £5 administration charge. Orders cancelled after dispatch must be returned, unopened and in saleable condition, before a refund, which will exclude postage costs and attract a £5 administration chage, can be given. You must pay the postage cost of returning the item in this case.

Most of our goods are covered by our 30-day-money-back guarantee. If the product is returned unused in its original packaging and in a saleable condition within 30 days of the receipt date, we will refund the sale price of the item minus any fees/costs, with the exception of the perishable products listed below. You will be required to return the item via a "Signed For" delivery service and will be responsible for any costs incurred. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage during this returns process. Please contact us at returns@bearsnbubbles.co.uk if you would like to return any goods.

Bears 'n' Bubbles Stuffed Bubbles, Special Offer / Sale items, and Helium filled Foil Balloons / Bouquets are not covered by the 30-day-money-back guarantee due to the inherent perishable nature of these products. Orders of these perishable items are excempt from Cancellation Rights once dispatched.

Faulty Goods

If you receive an item which is either faulty or you did not order, please contact us by email within 30 days of receipt and we will arrange a replacement or a refund. In the case of a refund we will also refund the value of the postage. When returning an item please use a "Signed For" delivery service.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
